Jesse Johnson to direct Don "The Dragon" Wilson in The Last Sentinel Santa Monica, CA, December 2005 - Fresh from stunt coordinating duties on Robert Zemechis' upcoming Beowolf, director Jesse Johnson is set to reinvent former kickboxing champion and martial arts movie star Don "The Dragon" Wilson in a hyper-violent and gritty sci-fi movie that will blend Martial Arts with Black Hawk Down-style battle sequences. Jesse Johnson has been a stuntman his entire adult life. When he made the decision to transition into directing he brought with him a visceral, grueling and pragmatic approach to action filmmaking. He directed his first film in 2000; a twelve-minute short entitled Death Row: The Tournament. Other film credits include, the full length 35mm feature film The Honorable completed in 2002 and Pit Fighter released by Fox Home Entertainment in the US and Regent worldwide in 2004. "We are excited to be working with Jesse." commented Ted Pryor, Co-Chairman of World Films, Inc. "He brings with him invaluable experience both as a director and stuntman. This film is going to be electrifying."
